Privacy
Public data in. Minimal private data out.
WhaleTag is publicly accessible and does not require a wallet connection, signature, subscription, or identity check.Public wallet lookups
Wallet addresses, NFT ownership, and marketplace activity are public data. Searching an address performs read-only requests and does not prove that you control that wallet.
No access verification
WhaleTag does not ask visitors to connect a wallet or sign a message to use its tools. No tool requires MonkeyHood ownership.
Watchlists and local storage
Watch rules, custom wallet tags, display preferences, and recent device history are stored in the current browser when storage is available. Clearing site data removes them.
Social sharing
Generated X posts are created deterministically from data already visible in WhaleTag. Drafts remain in the browser until you copy them or open X; WhaleTag never publishes automatically.
Third-party sources
WhaleTag requests market or blockchain data from OpenSea, CoinGecko, and Blockscout. Opening source links takes you to those services and their own privacy policies.
Retention
WhaleTag does not require an account for the public workspace. Device-saved history remains in that browser until it reaches the technical retention limit or you clear site data.
